Features, equipment and use of the Bridgehill Lithium Fire Blanket

The fire blanket has the dimensions 1800 x 1800 mm with a weight of 7 kg. Compared to the Car Fire Blanket or Forklift Fire Blanket, the blanket is significantly thicker and therefore also suitable for placing directly on battery packs.

Storage in a practical Smartbag

The blanket is supplied in a practical carrying bag for storage. If the fire blanket is stored permanently in the bag, the manufacturer provides a lifetime guarantee on the blanket.

Use of the fire blanket / fire blanket - also possible with just one person

Thanks to its compact size, the blanket can be used by one person. The first step is to spread the blanket out on the floor in front of the burning battery. The blanket must then be placed on the fire or carefully thrown over it. Only after 20 minutes should the blanket be removed and the battery placed in a water bath or similar. This will prevent the fire from flaring up again immediately. If possible, personal protective equipment should always be worn during use. You can find an application example in the Videos tab.

Also for preventive use

The blanket is also suitable for safely covering endangered batteries during storage. This means that fires with major damage can be ruled out from the outset.
