The Akkusafe AS17 battery bag is made from highly developed, fire-resistant "BagteX" fabric from K.TeX. This means that the Li-ion batteries / e-bike batteries packed in it can not only be stored safely, but the special fabric also has a fire-retardant effect in the event of a fire. The material is equipped with special "inflation windows" and sewn with high-strength sewing thread, with special closure solutions, so that the environment is protected from danger. Additional extinguishing granules and extinguishing agents, such as Pyrobubbles from Genius, which are used in other battery transport containers, are not necessary for the AS17 battery bag.

Special BagteX fabric has a fire-retardant effect

The special fabric can have an inhibiting effect in the event of a fire. The fabric can safely withstand the temperatures generated by collapsing batteries. The bag inflates and smoke gases are conducted to the outside without sparking thanks to the aramid fabric used. However, the letter closure must be properly engaged and sealed during use in order to guarantee the function of the Akkusafe AS17 battery bag.
