BAUER room container - 1 storage field

The BAUER room container is the ideal solution for the safe, structured and legally compliant storage of hazardous substances and other sensitive materials, such as lithium-ion batteries. Equipped with a general building authority approval (Z-38.5-103 DIBt), this container meets the highest requirements for fire protection, statics and functionality.

• Roof, walls and door surfaces clad with 2-shell, thermally insulated steel sandwich elements

• Floor with 6 mm glass fleece, aluminum-coated

• Edge protection profiles on all corners for additional safety

• Lockable double-leaf door across the entire front with galvanized door stops and Rokustrip seals (foaming in case of fire)

• Hot-dip galvanized, removable grating (mesh size 30 × 30 mm)

General guidelines for battery storage

There are currently no legal regulations for the storage of lithium batteries / lithium-ion batteries. Only VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH issues general safety rules for damage prevention in its publication VdS 3103 : 2019-06 (03). It is advisable to clarify your requirements with your property insurance company in advance.
