1. Overview

The GENIUS Lio Guard transport boxes have been developed for the safe transport and storage of damaged, faulty and critically faulty lithium-ion batteries. The product range comprises various container sizes made from stainless steel (E Series) and galvanised steel (B Series), offering suitable solutions for everything from small rechargeable batteries to large battery systems and battery modules.

The steel boxes comply with current requirements for the transport of dangerous goods and are designed for lithium batteries in accordance with UN 3090, UN 3091, UN 3480 and UN 3481. In conjunction with the integrated fire protection concept based on PyroBubbles ® Premium, they help to limit the effects of thermal runaway and enable safe transport and safe temporary storage.

Depending on the application, single-walled and double-walled versions as well as various sizes are available. All systems are reusable, stackable and designed for professional use in industry, workshops, logistics and recycling. The robust steel construction ensures high mechanical strength and a long service life.
