Its combined extinguishing properties make it extremely effective as an active extinguishing agent additive and ideal for fighting fires involving solid organic flammable substances, polar and non-polar flammable liquids, flammable light metals, burning fats and burning and reacting lithium-ion batteries.

F-500 EA as a multifunctional extinguishing agent additive to water is successfully suitable for 98% of all fires and also has a shelf life of 15 years if the recommended storage conditions are observed.

The liquid mixture of various surfactants encapsulates liquid fuel particles, which leads to the formation of an emulsion and thus limits the development of vapor from the flammable liquid to such an extent that a flash point can no longer be measured. It also has a greater cooling effect than other additives to water, as the mixture of water and F-500 EA begins to vaporize at 70 degrees Celsius.
