Product information „BAUER walk-in container - 3 x 3 m“
The BAUER storage container with one storage level is a high-performance, future-proof solution for the safe, organised and compliant storage of lithium-ion batteries.
Thanks to its robust steel construction, integrated spill containment sump and high level of fire protection, the container is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and meets stringent requirements for safety, functionality and durability.
The container holds a general building approval issued by the German Institute for Construction Technology (DIBt), Approval No. Z-38.5-103, and therefore complies with current German building regulations relating to fire protection, structural stability and environmental protection. It forms a self-contained, independent fire compartment, helping companies to reliably minimise risks and ensure safe operational processes.
As each fire protection container is an individually configured project solution, specific requirements such as battery type, storage quantity, installation location, fire resistance rating and technical equipment must be taken into account. The BAUER storage container features a robust welded frame construction designed for long-term industrial use.

Roof, walls and door surfaces clad with double-skin, thermally insulated steel sandwich panels (non-combustible, reaction-to-fire classification A2-s1, d0 in accordance with DIN EN 13501-1)

100 mm insulation layer for enhanced fire protection

Floor with 6 mm aluminium-coated glass fibre fleece

Edge protection profiles on all corners for additional impact protection

Storage & Safety
The container provides a flexible and practical storage solution for a wide range of applications:

Hot-dip galvanised, removable grating (mesh size: 30 × 30 mm)

Spill containment capacity: 800 litres up to the lower edge of the grating

Sump wall thickness: 5 mm, including leak test and manufacturer's inspection certificate
