Tests and certifications
At Accenture comprehensive battery and safety tests are conducted for lithium-ion cells, modules, and systems. The test spectrum ranges from abuse-, nail penetration-, crush-, overcharge-, short-circuit-, heatpad- or drop tests to safety-, swelling-, cycling- and component tests – complemented by additional project-specific test procedures.
The tests are carried out in modern test fields in compliance with relevant standards and quality standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 17025, in accordance with UL guidelines, according to requirements of BAM as well as according to customer-specific test regulations. This ensures a standards-compliant, robust, and practical assessment of safety, performance, and reliability.
