Product information „asecos IO90 telecommunications module“

The "IO90 telecommunications module" accessory is suitable for all asecos cabinets with a potential-free switching contact for alarm transmission and is used to forward the collective alarm signal from the safety cabinet via SMS and/or phone call to the mobile network. The telecommunications module can be retrofitted by the customer using a plug.

Potential-free switching contact on all asecos ION-CHARGE cabinets

All cabinets are equipped ex works with a potential-free switching contact for alarm forwarding on site. This contact provides a connection to a permanently manned control centre (internal or external), which is considered the most reliable method of alarm forwarding. Alternatively, or as an addition, optional modules such as the telecommunications module can be purchased.

Collective alarm message

The ION-LINE telecommunications module offers the option of forwarding the collective alarm message from the security cabinet via SMS and/or call to the mobile network. It is therefore an ideal solution for companies and institutions without an internal or external control centre. In an emergency, the alarm is triggered for up to five predefined persons. The alarm texts and up to 5 phone numbers can be freely configured.

A prerequisite for a functioning and therefore secure system with the remote communication module is network availability at the installation site. A 230 V mains connection and a suitable SIM card must be provided by the customer. Alternatively, the module comes with a Mobeye SIM card, which can be activated via an online portal. This portal can be used to store an unlimited number of contacts for SMS and email. The costs and conditions for this can be found in the manufacturer's information from Mobeye.

Note :
The switching contacts are used to connect a signal to a building control system. Direct integration into a fire alarm control panel (BMZ) is not recommended and may only be carried out in consultation with the person responsible for the system.
