The "IO90 relay module" accessory is suitable for the PRO models of the ION-LINE and is used to differentiate between the various warning and alarm levels.
Potential-free switching contact for all asecos ION-CHARGE cabinets
All cabinets are equipped with a potential-free switching contact ex works for on-site alarm forwarding. This contact provides a connection to a permanently manned control centre (internal or external), which is considered the most reliable method of alarm forwarding. Alternatively, or as an addition, optional modules, such as the relay module shown here, can be purchased.
Relay module enables alarm differentiation
Instead of the standard collective alarm
,
the relay module enables alarm differentiation. When ordering, the module is either installed at the factory or retrofitted by asecos experts as a service.
This enables differentiation between four different warning and alarm levels
.

- Warning message when the temperature inside the cabinet exceeds 50°C
.
- Alarm level 1: Triggered when smoke begins to develop in the cabinet.
- Alarm level 2: Triggered when the smoke detector is activated and the temperature inside the cabinet exceeds 70°C
- Power failure
This allows measures to be taken that are optimally tailored to the acute situation thanks to the differentiation of the alarm states. The four levels can be transmitted to the building management system as either normally open or normally closed contacts via separate potential-free contacts. A plug for customer cabling for one of the four states is included in the scope of delivery.
Note :
The switching contacts are used to transmit a signal to a building management system. Direct integration into a fire alarm control panel (BMZ) is not recommended and may only be carried out in consultation with the person responsible for the system.
