Overview
The ECOSAFE Locker is a high-quality security cabinet for storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. Developed for professional use, it reliably protects against the risks of thermal runaway and reduces potential damage to people, buildings and operating facilities.
With a tested fire resistance of 90 minutes (Type 90) and standard-compliant fire tests, the cabinet provides comprehensive protection both from inside to outside and from outside to inside. This prevents a battery fire from spreading to the surroundings or external fires from affecting the cabinet contents.
The body consists of a high-quality steel construction with double-walled triple insulation. Integrated heat-insulation panels reduce thermal bridges, while the exterior surfaces are protected by a durable epoxy coating. The interior lining with melamine panels additionally provides a robust, chemically resistant and easy-to-clean surface.
The robust design, combined with the integrated fire suppression system, makes the ECOSAFE Locker a flexible and future-proof solution for modern battery storage concepts.

Fire suppression
The fire suppression system is used for actively combating incipient fires inside the cabinet.
Operation:

- Release of a extinguishing or inerting agent into the interior
- Interruption of the oxygen supply or cooling of the fire source
- Prevention of fire spread to other batteries
This system reduces the intensity of a battery fire and significantly limits follow-on damage.

If you already have a suitable room that is structurally fire-resistant, then you do not necessarily need a safety cabinet to contain the fire.
However, please do not forget that the damage caused by a battery fire involves immense and also toxic contamination, the disposal of which can quickly lead to high costs.
In addition, you may not be able to continue working as usual until the damage has been finally repaired - depending on the location of the damage.

ECOSAFE SED: The WiFi data logger system is used for reliable monitoring of temperature values in storage and charging cabinets of the Ecosafe product. Installation is simple via a web browser. The WiFi data logger records temperature values at freely adjustable intervals and transmits them directly via a WLAN network to the cloud.The recorded data can be accessed at any time from anywhere via tablet, smartphone, or PC with Internet access. If defined limit values are exceeded, an alert is immediately sent by e-mail or optionally by SMS as a push notification. This keeps safety-relevant processes under control even in the absence. ECOSAFE Connection Kit KRC: Connection kit for attaching a ventilation box. The set includes a flexible hose with a diameter of 100 mm, a steel coupling with a diameter of 100 mm, two hose clamps with a diameter of 100 mm, and four fastening screws.
Ventilation box for Ecosafe safety cabinets. The box ensures air exchange in the safety cabinet, preventing overheating. Please note that the air inlet and outlet openings close in the event of a fire, preventing the extraction of smoke gases. The ventilation box is recommended if the lithium-ion batteries tend to generate excessive heat during charging. The connection kit must be ordered separately for installation.
ECOSAFE SERCODE: Code lock for locking the doors with a 4-digit code. The locking is achieved via a 2-point fixation. The power supply is provided by two AA batteries included in the package, designed for a lifespan of approximately 80,000 locking cycles. The battery charge level can be displayed via an integrated LED.
