Brief overview
The GelKoh LiBa®WorkStation HV is a safety workstation designed for the professional handling of lithium-ion batteries in research, development, analysis, production and workshop environments. The robust steel construction, featuring an integrated spill tray, the LiBa®Sol extinguishing system and the LiBa®Vent pressure relief system, creates a contained working area and helps to protect users and the surrounding environment whilst working with lithium batteries.
Depending on the model, the WorkStation HV accommodates different battery sizes and, according to the manufacturer, is designed for batteries with an energy capacity of up to 135 kWh. It is available in sizes S, L and XL and can be individually adapted or expanded to meet specific requirements.
The integrated LiBa®Sol fire suppression system is designed for automatic fire suppression in the event of an incident. In addition, the WorkStation features LiBa®Vent gas management panels, through which battery gases generated in the event of an incident can be vented in a controlled manner.
The WorkStation HV comes with castors as standard and features intermediate shelves and cable grommets. The side panels can be used to store tools. The L and XL versions are also height-adjustable and can therefore be adapted to different working situations.
