The system is suitable for storing both intact and damaged lithium batteries. By using a thermally effective fire protection filling material, the risk of fire spreading in the event of a battery incident is significantly reduced. The storage boxes are reusable, stackable, and designed for daily industrial use.

The Genius Lio Guard Storage Box 30 was developed for the safe storage of lithium batteries and lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. It is particularly suitable for companies in industry, logistics, recycling, energy supply, research, and automotive.

The storage box is intended for the safe storage of lithium batteries and should only be used in accordance with its intended application. Before storing damaged or critical batteries, an individual risk assessment is recommended.
The fire protection filling and the integrated fire protection cushions are part of the safety concept and should be checked regularly for completeness and integrity. Damaged components must be replaced immediately.
When storing larger quantities of batteries or batteries with increased hazard potential, the operational fire protection and safety requirements should also be taken into account.
