Brief description

The LOXXER storage and charging containers offer a safe and flexible solution for the storage and charging of large quantities of lithium-ion batteries. Thanks to their robust construction, comprehensive safety features and the option of indoor or outdoor installation, the system is suitable for a wide range of applications – from individual battery systems to large-scale energy storage systems, high-voltage batteries or loose cells.

The containers are designed as bespoke project solutions and can be adapted to specific requirements regarding battery type, storage volume, charging operations and safety concepts. The fittings shown in the product images are for illustrative purposes only. Shelving systems, power strips or other fittings are not included in the standard specification.

Please note that the costs for transport, freight and installation are calculated on a project-by-project basis.

The LOXXER storage/charging container enables the safe storage and controlled charging of lithium-ion batteries of a wide variety of designs and power ratings.

Guidance on the storage of lithium batteries

There are currently only limited specific legal requirements governing the storage of lithium-ion batteries. Recommendations and guidance are provided, amongst other sources, by the VdS Schadenverhütung guidelines. In addition, property insurers or company fire safety policies may impose specific requirements.

We therefore recommend coordinating the planned storage/charging solution with the relevant safety officers and insurers at an early stage.
