LOXXER shelving container – Immediate hazard prevention for new or conspicuous lithium batteries
The LOXXER shelving container ensures a safe storage location for all types of lithium-ion batteries (e.g. automotive, PV storage, loose cells, etc.).
Standard sizes
The containers are available in four standard sizes: 20 or 40 feet, 6,060 x 2,440 x 2,590 mm or 12,200 x 2,440 x 2,590 mm.
The interior offers space for a wide variety of devices, including small and large lithium-ion batteries. The container's shelving structure allows for vertical storage, making optimum use of the available space.

The container can be individually adapted to a wide range of requirements. The containers have the following standard equipment :
- AF-X fire protection aerosol system
- CO, smoke and heat detection
- Fire extinguisher installation in accordance with NEN-EN 15276-1:2019
- Complies with PGS37-2, EN50110 / NEN3140 regulations, NEN1010
- 90 minutes fire resistant according to WBDBO (resistance to the penetration and spread of fire)
- LED lighting with motion detector
- Overpressure protection
- Air conditioning unit
- Storz connection to sprinkler heads
- Safety pictograms
- Alarm devices on the outside of the container
- IOT remote monitoring (LSC portal)

General guidelines for battery storage
There are currently no legal regulations for the storage of lithium batteries/lithium-ion batteries. Only VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH provides general safety rules for damage prevention in its publication VdS 3103 : 2019-06 (03). It is advisable to clarify your requirements with your property insurance company in advance.
