In the event of a fire, this fire blanket protects against the spread of flames, overheating, and damage / danger to the surroundings.

Suitable JUTEC fire blanket / fire containment blanket for electric cars of various sizes

The flexible fire blanket from JUTEC has dimensions up to 8,000 x 6,000 mm and thus offers an optimal size suitable for electric cars of various model series and manufacturers. It maintains constant temperatures up to 1,150 °C, and withstands up to 1,300 °C for short periods. Other sizes are of course also available on request or adjustable to individual needs.

Special fabric with high-temperature equipment and vermiculite coating

The base material of the vehicle fire protection blankets is a special fabric with high-temperature equipment (RH/Q 94%). In addition, a double-sided vermiculite coating is applied, which binds fluorosulfuric acid (HF) to some extent and thereby neutralizes the possibly escaping hydrofluoric acid from Li-ion batteries. In addition, no fiber fracture occurs under temperature cycling. Moreover, the silica fabric with 96% SiO2 content enables cooling from above, which is very useful for firefighting operations.
