1. Product Overview
The asecos ION-LINE Battery CHARGE security cabinet offers a professional solution for safe charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries indoors. Through an integrated system of fire-protected lockers, the cabinet enables the separate and controlled charging of several batteries simultaneously.
With a tested fire protection from outside to inside and from inside to outside for over 90 minutes, the cabinet helps companies store lithium batteries in compliance with standards and insurance requirements. The robust construction and compact design allow easy integration into existing work environments without elaborate structural measures.

safety devices must be regularly maintained. The recommended maintenance interval for safety cabinets according to EN 14470-1 is a maximum of 12 months.
The first maintenance after 12 months must be performed by the manufacturer's service team to maintain the warranty.

The fire protection panels installed in the cabinets contain gypsum, which contains a lot of water, which expands when frozen. This deforms the panels. It can no longer be guaranteed that such a cabinet is still sealed or can withstand an explosion.
If you already have a suitable room that is structurally fire-resistant, then you do not necessarily need a safety cabinet to contain the fire.
However, please do not forget that the damage caused by a battery fire involves immense and also toxic contamination, the disposal of which can quickly lead to high costs.
In addition, you may not be able to continue working as usual until the damage has been finally repaired - depending on the location of the damage.
