Product information „asecos Telecommunications Module 1.0“
The asecos Telecommunications Module 1.0 enhances asecos ION-LINE CORE series safety cabinets fitted with a potential-free switching contact by enabling alarm notification via text message and/or telephone call. In the event of an alarm, the safety cabinet’s collective alarm message is automatically transmitted to pre-defined contact persons. The module is particularly suitable for applications where there is no permanently staffed control centre.
Alarm forwarding via mobile network
The telecommunications module reliably transmits the safety cabinet’s collective alarm message via the mobile network. Up to five telephone numbers can be individually stored and will be notified via SMS and/or a phone call in the event of an incident. The alarm messages are freely configurable.
All asecos ION-LINE -CORE safety cabinets are fitted as standard with a potential-free switch contact for connection to a building management system or a permanently staffed control centre. The Telecommunications Module 1.0 represents a useful alternative or addition for this purpose and can also be retrofitted via the existing plug-in connection.
Requirements
A 230 V mains connection and sufficient mobile network coverage at the installation site are required for the telecommunications module to operate. The module can be operated using either a SIM card provided by the customer or the Mobeye SIM supplied with the unit. When using the Mobeye SIM, additional notification functions are available via the associated online portal, for example to an unlimited number of SMS or email recipients. Information on the associated costs and terms and conditions can be found in the manufacturer’s specifications from Mobeye.
Note :
The potential-free switching contacts are intended for connection to a building management system. Direct connection to a fire alarm control panel (FACP) should only be carried out in consultation with the person responsible for the system.
