Product information „asecos cable and pipe entry for self-assembly“
The "pipe feed-through" accessory is suitable for ION-LINE models and can be used to feed your own cables into the cabinet, for example to install your own fire alarm technology in the cabinet.
Safety device for pipe feed-throughs – the asecos model series V-90, S-90, Q-90, IO-90, K-90, XL-90 in accordance with DIN EN 14470-1

Special fire protection plate with a powder-coated housing (in RAL light grey).

Installation: Screw-on brackets with 4 screws each
Intended use :
This device is suitable for the passage of :
- pipes (with an outer diameter of up to 28 mm)
- hoses (with an outer diameter of up to 27 mm)
- electrical cables (with an outer diameter of up to 21 mm)
Additional information for metal pipes :
It is recommended that pipes be made of stainless steel or a material with similar thermal conductivity in order to maintain the fire resistance as determined and specified in the tests.
Basic information / Installation position :
The Type 90 pipe penetration can be installed in the areas designated for the respective cabinet type by the manufacturer

It can be installed either externally or internally.
Self-installation :
Please request the drawing for the respective cabinet model from us. Please note that a minimum distance of 22 mm from the edges of the pipe penetration and 20 mm between individual pipes, hoses or cables must be maintained. The drill diameter in the Type 90 pipe feed-through must not exceed 1 mm more than the outer diameter of the pipe, hose or cable to be fed through the pipe feed-through (alternative designs are possible in consultation with us or the manufacturer).
Holes that are no longer required :
If holes are no longer required, all open holes in the cabinet wall must be properly and completely sealed to the wall depth with suitable fire protection putty.
