The LiioBox Orange is ideal for storing and transporting defective cells, modules or entire lithium-ion batteries that are intended for recycling.

Size and capacity of the battery transport container

The LiioBox for (non-critical) defective lithium-ion batteries has external dimensions of 2850 x 1850 x 1345 mm and an empty weight of 2000 kg. The dimensions inside the transport box are 2600 x 1600 x 750 mm. The maximum permissible battery weight is 1000 kg. This container is therefore primarily used in industrial applications. Industrial trucks can drive under the container. The LiioBox Orange also has a stackable design. The lid can also be lifted with a forklift truck.

The collection basin consists of an e-insulated stainless steel tray filled with mts granulate. The insulation between the outer tray and the shell is patented and unique on the market. The granulate is filled into small bags, which are included with the box upon delivery. Handling the cushions makes loading and unloading the filler very easy. The cushions generate hardly any dust during loading and unloading. In addition, the container has flame arresters and overpressure protection during degassing.

Other designs available

The LiioBox can also be manufactured in other sizes on request. There is also the option of installing both battery temperature monitoring and GPS localisation. If you require this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Certification and guidelines

Lithium-ion batteries and lithium-ion rechargeable batteries fall into dangerous goods class 9, which means that the goods pose a risk to the environment during transport that should not be underestimated. Numerous specifications and guidelines must therefore be observed when transporting lithium-ion batteries/lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. LiioBox transport boxes have been specially designed to meet the most stringent safety regulations.

For packaging instructions LP 904/P908 (non-critical defects) and LP 905/P910 (prototypes) in accordance with SV 310, SV 376

This system makes it possible to transport (non-critical) defective lithium batteries in accordance with LP 904/P 908 and prototypes in accordance with special regulation SV 310 and packaging instruction LP 905/P 910. The filling material used is neither electrically conductive nor flammable. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Also available as a system for transporting EOL batteries in accordance with P909 as defined in SV 377

The container is also particularly suitable for transporting EOL batteries that are being transported to a processor for recycling.

Also ideal for transporting new lithium-ion batteries in accordance with P903 / LP 903 and as a storage and quarantine box

The container is also ideal as a quarantine container for defective batteries in order to isolate a possible fire from the outset. In addition to defective batteries, the transport container is also suitable for the regular shipment of new goods in accordance with packaging regulation LP 903.
