The ThorPak® battery large load carriers are specially developed, certified reusable containers for the safe transport and storage of new and defective lithium-ion batteries. They meet the highest requirements for dangerous goods packaging and are approved for use in road, rail, and sea transport.
The systems enable safe, compliant, and efficient handling along the entire logistics chain – from prototypes to series production. Thanks to their robust design, integrated securing systems, and inner packaging, they offer an economical and sustainable solution for handling sensitive energy storage devices.
Particular emphasis is placed on transport safety, labeling, and easy handling, optimizing both packaging processes and logistical operations.

- Inner packaging must be supplemented with non-combustible, electrically non-conductive insulating material
- Secure fixing of the batteries in the container is mandatory
- Carry out labeling and documentation in accordance with ADR requirements
- Regular visual inspection of the packaging and securing systems is recommended
