Overview
The CEMO Li-SAFE Transport and Storage Boxes have been developed for the safe transport and fire-protected storage of lithium-ion batteries. The product range includes the Li-SAFE 2-S, Li-SAFE 3-S and Li-SAFE 2-L models and is suitable for new, used, defective and batteries awaiting inspection. Thanks to their UN approval for Packing Groups II and III and ADR approval, the boxes can be used—depending on the condition of the battery—for compliant transport of dangerous goods. They are also ideal as stationary safety containers for the temporary storage or quarantine of individual batteries.
Each battery fire protection box features a special fire-resistant lining made from non-combustible materials. In addition, mouldable special cushions filled with vermiculite securely hold the batteries in place, separate them from one another, and protect them against mechanical impact. This helps reduce the effects of a potential thermal runaway while enhancing safety during transport and storage.
The robust plastic construction is impact-resistant, durable, and designed for everyday industrial use. Thanks to the stackable design, sturdy locking buckles, and ergonomic carrying handles, the boxes are easy to transport and can be stored efficiently. In addition to mobile applications, such as on construction sites or in service vehicles, they are equally suitable as stationary safety containers.
