It is suitable for new, used, defective, and batteries awaiting inspection, helping companies safely manage batteries in various conditions. Thanks to its UN approval for Packing Groups II and III and ADR approval, the box can be used—depending on the battery condition—for compliant transport of dangerous goods. It also serves as a stationary safety container for the temporary storage or quarantine of individual batteries.
The box features a special fire-resistant lining made from non-combustible materials and four mouldable vermiculite-filled cushions. These securely hold the batteries in place, protect them against mechanical impact, and help minimise the effects of a potential thermal runaway.
Manufactured from durable, impact-resistant plastic, the Li-SAFE 2-L is stackable, interlocking, and designed for everyday use in industrial, workshop, service, and logistics environments. Its larger dimensions make it particularly suitable for larger lithium-ion batteries and battery packs. In addition, the box has been independently tested and certified by TÜV NORD.
