The CEMO Li-SAFE 2-S Battery Fire Protection Box has been developed for the safe transport and fire-protected storage of lithium-ion batteries. It is suitable for new, used, defective and batteries awaiting inspection, helping companies safely manage batteries in various conditions. Thanks to its UN approval for Packing Groups II and III and ADR approval, the box can be used—depending on the battery condition—for compliant transport of dangerous goods. It also serves as a stationary safety container for the temporary storage or quarantine of individual batteries.
The Li-SAFE 2-S features a special fire-resistant lining made from non-combustible materials. Two mouldable vermiculite-filled cushions securely hold the batteries in place, protect them against mechanical impact, and keep them safely separated. This helps minimise the effects of a potential thermal runaway while increasing safety during transport and storage.
Manufactured from durable, impact-resistant plastic, the transport box is designed for everyday use in industrial, workshop, service, and logistics environments.
