Overview
The Genius Lio Guard Storage Box 30 is a specially designed safety box for the secure storage of lithium batteries and lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. The robust steel construction, combined with an integrated fire protection system, offers a reliable solution for businesses wishing to store batteries safely and minimise potential risks.
The system is suitable for storing both intact and damaged lithium batteries. The use of a thermally active fire protection filling material significantly reduces the risk of fire spreading in the event of a battery incident. The storage boxes are reusable, stackable and designed for daily industrial use.

Scope of use & application
The Genius Lio Guard Storage Box 30 has been developed for the safe storage of lithium batteries and lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. It is particularly suitable for companies in the industrial, logistics, recycling, energy supply, research and automotive sectors.
Typical areas of application include :
- Storage of new or used lithium batteries
- Separation of damaged or suspicious batteries

Thanks to the integrated fire protection technology, the boxes can also be used for batteries where an increased risk of thermal runaway cannot be ruled out.

Instructions for use & operation
The storage box is designed for the safe storage of lithium batteries and should only be used in accordance with its intended purpose. Before storing damaged or high-risk batteries, it is recommended that an individual risk assessment be carried out.
The fire-retardant filling and the integrated fire-retardant cushions form part of the safety concept and should be checked regularly to ensure they are complete and undamaged. Damaged components must be replaced immediately.
When storing large quantities of batteries or batteries posing an increased risk, additional consideration should be given to the organisation’s fire safety and security requirements.
