The use of a thermally active fire-retardant filling material significantly reduces the risk of fire spreading in the event of a battery incident. The Genius Lio Guard Storage Boxes have been developed for the safe storage of lithium batteries and lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. They are particularly suitable for companies in the industrial, logistics, recycling, energy supply, research and automotive sectors.

Notes on use & operation
The storage boxes are designed for the safe storage of lithium batteries and should only be used in accordance with their intended application. Before storing damaged or high-risk batteries, it is recommended that an individual risk assessment be carried
out.
The fire-retardant filling and the integrated fire-retardant cushions form part of the safety concept and should be checked regularly to ensure they are complete and undamaged. Damaged components must be replaced immediately.
When storing large quantities of batteries or batteries with an increased risk potential, additional consideration should be given to the organisation’s fire safety and security requirements.
