1. Brief overview
The Genius Lio Guard XXL-Box E with inner box is a double-walled, stainless steel dangerous goods container designed for the safe transport and temporary storage of damaged, faulty and critically faulty lithium-ion batteries. The system has been specially developed for large battery systems, high-voltage batteries and battery modules, and meets the requirements of current dangerous goods regulations for professional use in industry, logistics and recycling.
The design consists of a robust outer box and a separate inner box made of stainless steel. The space between them is permanently filled with PyroBubbles® Premium, forming an additional thermal barrier. In addition, the contents are secured within the inner box using PyroBubbles® and thermally isolated from one another. Four integrated safety valves enable controlled pressure equalisation in the event of an incident.
Thanks to its large internal volume, the XXL Box E with inner box is particularly suitable for large high-voltage batteries, battery modules, stationary energy storage systems and prototypes. The box is accessible from all sides by industrial trucks, lockable and designed as a durable, reusable system for repeated use.
