Product information „LOXXER Charging Cabinet LOXK2000 VDMA“

Brief Overview

The LOXXER LOXK2000 VDMA was specifically developed for the safe indoor storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. The focus is particularly on batteries for industrial handheld devices, power tools, e-bikes, e-scooters, as well as comparable applications.

The LOXK2000 features a reinforced frame and meets the requirements of VDMA Standard Sheet 24994 for the safe handling of lithium-ion batteries. Flame-retardant materials, thermally insulating shelves, automatic fire detection, visual and acoustic alarms, as well as an optional aerosol fire suppression system ensure a high level of safety when charging and storing batteries.

Thanks to its design, the cabinet can be transported through standard doors despite its size. In an emergency, the cabinet can be quickly removed from the danger zone and moved outdoors.

Fire detection

The cabinet already comes as standard with a comprehensive monitoring system:

  • Smoke detector
  • Door contact sensors
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Visual alarm
  • Acoustic alarm

Door monitoring

If a door remains open for longer than five minutes, the following occurs:

  • Alarm notification
  • Notification via the MyLoxxer platform (optional)

Automatic reactions in the event of danger

In the event of smoke detection, the cabinet automatically performs the following measures:

  1. Activation of siren and warning light
  2. Interruption of the charging process
  3. Shutdown of the active ventilation
  4. Activation of the aerosol extinguishing system (optional)

Pressure management

An integrated pressure relief valve reduces the internal pressure in the event of deflagration and protects the cabinet structure.

Smoke gas management

A connection for an external smoke gas duct enables the controlled discharge of smoke gases to the outside.
