Düperthal BATTERY station line XL charging cabinet

This safety cabinet is an innovative storage and charging system for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries / lithium-ion batteries. This innovative and DIN-certified cabinet system was developed by Düperthal to prevent damage caused by damaged battery cells. Smoke gases in particular can permanently damage surrounding electronic devices. The BATTERY line cabinets from Düperthal protect you from the outset against this and other damage that can be caused, for example, by thermal runaway lithium-ion battery cells. The tested fire resistance from the inside to the outside makes this system particularly interesting for use in the industrial sector.

Size, storage capacity and functions of the battery safety cabinet

The Düperthal BATTERY line station series includes various safety cabinets for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries / lithium-ion batteries. There are also 230 V connections in the storage levels for connecting storage devices. The power connection for the lithium battery cabinet itself is via a 16 A CEE -L+N+PE 6h plug, which is protected against polarity reversal, so that in addition to the pure storage of lithium-ion batteries, charging is also possible. The supply voltage is single-phase 230 V / 50 Hz, max. 3.68 kW. A 400 V / 50 hz connection can also be ordered. Please note the variants.

Standard security cabinets are designed for indoor use, so they cannot be used outdoors. The fire protection panels installed in the cabinets contain gypsum, which contains a lot of water, which expands when frozen. This deforms the panels. It can no longer be guaranteed that such a cabinet is still sealed or can withstand an explosion. When can I buy a battery cabinet without fire resistance? If you already have a suitable room that is structurally fire-resistant, then you do not necessarily need a safety cabinet to contain the fire. However, please do not forget that the damage caused by a battery fire involves immense and also toxic contamination, the disposal of which can quickly lead to high costs.
